The length reference instrument includes a host computer, a main workbench, an additional workbench and a lead screw drive unit. The additional workbench and the lead screw drive unit are parallel and installed on the main workbench respectively. The additional workbench is equipped with a grating ruler. The lead screw drive unit includes a slide rail, a lead screw and a screw nut. The head of the slide rail is fixedly installed with a fixed measuring block, and the slide rail is slideably installed with a mobile measuring block, and the mobile measuring block is fixed on the screw nut, The moving measuring block is equipped with a grating ruler reading head, which is located above the grating ruler and parallel to each other. The output end of the grating ruler reading head is electrically connected with the upper computer, the lead screw is connected with the output shaft of the servo motor, the servo motor is electrically connected with the PLC through the servo driver, and the PLC is electrically connected with the upper computer. This length reference instrument solves the problem of establishing the length reference of any size within 0-4000mmm, ensures the reference accuracy, and greatly improves the measurement efficiency. The basic parameters are as follows: Technical parameters: Range: 1.5mm-4000mm Measurement accuracy: 0.006mm Length resolution: 0.001mm Repeated positioning accuracy: 0.003mm The upper computer controls the PLC and the reading head of the grating ruler, the PLC controls the servo system, and the servo system controls the motor. The motor drives the lead screw to rotate. A measuring slider is installed on the lead screw. When the lead screw rotates, it drives the measuring slider block to move forward and backward. The lead screw is installed on the marble, and the marble is pasted with a grating ruler. The upper computer sends instructions, the motor rotates, and the measuring block moves.
