Alipay X1 is an intelligent device that uses palm print + palm vein biometric technology and can be used in various scenarios including, but not limited to online payment, access control identification, and passing through gates. This type of contactless recognition is safer and more hygienic.
Through both light and sound guidance, users can present their palms to complete identity verification. In poor lighting conditions, the LED supplementary light improves accuracy of the recognition. The X1 can be used in the following contexts: (1) payment scenarios, in which it is connected to a POS machine via Bluetooth as a palm print recognition payment device; (2) access control systems, where it is installed in offices, government buildings, and other locations where identity verification is required; (3) public travel gates such as bus and metro gates, where passengers can pass through the gate and complete fare payment by scanning their palms.
The palm recognition device is more secure, have higher recognition success rates and are more privacy friendly when compared to the facial recognition devices currently available on the market.
